God’s People and Battling Injustice

I don’t even know how to intro this, so I’ll just get to it. My heart has been heavy for a couple weeks now about all of the blog posts and articles surrounding Sovereign Grace Ministries. These articles have definitely been going on longer than a few weeks, but I’ve been out of the blog world for a while. The Transcendent, Personal God

So, I seem to always have people wonder about why I try to tie everything that is gospel back to the glory of God. Perhaps this is because of poor communication skills on my part, or maybe it’s because most people weren’t taught Scripture that way as they grew up in church. I honestly don’t think that I was taught that way, now that I think about it. It was all about God being a personal God and dying for our sins and living in our hearts…but it seemed to go from there to changing our behavior and then it just stopped. But the gospel is both about God’s glory and Him being a personal God, and they are inextricably linked.

Reformed Complementarianism and the Blogging World

I’ll confess, this is going to be a bit of a rant. But I feel it’s a rant worth conveying, because at its core is seeing Biblical truth confessed, but not practiced. In course of conversation, a friend of mine, though we’ve not met in person as of yet, mentioned some things to me about her experiences in the blogging world, and they have left me more than annoyed.
