Props Where Props Are Due

A while back, I wrote a post about some of the problems I see in how the Reformed community responds to female bloggers when it comes to credibility and recognition/exposure. I’m incredibly grateful to see that God has shown His grace and given one of my friends a couple of amazing opportunities.

My friend, Lore, has been blogging since 2000 and writing at Sayable.net for longer than I can remember. And, recently, she has been graced with the opportunity to contribute to The Gospel Coalition, and then to review the newly released expanded version of John Piper’s Brother’s, We Are Not Professionals.

I say all of this, not only to unashamedly plug one of my friend’s blogs and to point out some well-deserved recognition, but also to recognize God’s grace, favor, and answers to prayers related to my previous post about this topic in general. I doubt that my previous post had anything to do with these changes, but I am incredibly grateful to see that God is moving this way in the Reformed community, or is at least allowing me/us to see what He has already been doing, whichever is the case.

Soli Deo Gloria
